Lumina Emotion teaches how to manage personality effectively across changing contextual demands. Based on the Big5 model, it demonstrates that personality qualities underpin the majority of traditional emotional competencies.
Lumina Emotion teaches people how to manage their personality effectively to suit changing contextual demands, whatever their natural qualities may be. Created by psychologists Dr Stewart Desson and Julie Ensor (MSc), it is derived from Dr Desson's PhD research. It takes a holistic view recognising that all traits can be helpful — for example, both introversion and extraversion can contribute to emotional intelligence in different contexts.
Based on the Big5 personality model. Emotional intelligence is recognised as one of the top 10 competencies for professional success.
